Training Solutions
Commercial Security Guard Training Programme
In early 2005, as part of the Government’s employment reforms, a ‘Commercial Security Guard Training Programme’ (STP) was initiated and implemented in Kuwait.
HSEeurope were selected to provide the project management and deliver the training of the STP to ensure that these new trainees received the necessary tutoring, coaching and mentoring to give them the theoretical and practical skills required for their future roles.
The programme is both classroom and practical based and was developed for the client in line with UK best practice and accredited by BTEC as a level 2 Diploma. Students are tested on their subject knowledge in the form of both written and practical assessments which have to meet the UK national standard to be eligible for the diploma. The students have the benefit of drawing from the experience of our trainers, all of whom have vast operational experience coupled with extensive training expertise.
Between 2005 and 2008 more than 1250 security guards successfully completed their diploma and joined major oil sector companies as professional security guards.
Female Security Guard Training Programme
HSEeurope also delivered the training for the first intake of female security guards, who completed their STP course in 2008. They followed the same programme as their male counterparts and have also successfully entered into their respective roles within the Security industry. They mark an important milestone by representing the first national females to be employed in this male dominated profession.
